Zborul unui român în spațiul cosmic
Să ne reamintim cu drag că:
La 14 mai 1981, Dumitru Prunariu, a devenit primul şi singurul român care a zburat vreodată în spaţiul cosmic. A participat la misiunea Soiuz 40, din cadrul programului spaţial „Intercosmos” şi a petrecut în spaţiu 7 zile, 20 de ore şi 42 de minute.
Cosmonautul Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu este primul român care a zburat în Cosmos. Prin participarea sa la misiunea româno-rusă Soyuz 40, din perioada 14-22 mai 1981, el a deschis calea tradițiilor de contributie a românilor la zborul omului printre stele, la explorarea Universului și apropierea de Dumnezeu.
Misiunea Soyuz 40 a constituit pentru Romania un moment de importanță epocală, incluzand-o în cercul select al statelor participante la complexul proces de cunoaștere a Universului.
La momentul zborului, Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu, a fost cel de-al 103-lea cosmonaut al lumii. În prezent, numarul acestora a crescut la peste 450.
Cu toate ca expediția în spatiul cosmic a fost de scurtă durată, aceasta a presupus un parcurs circumterestru de 5.260.000 de kilometri.
Puțini sunt aceia care știu că la examenul pentru programul de zboruri cosmice s-au prezentat peste 150 de candidați, majoritatea dintre aceștia fiind piloti de avioane supersonice și ingineri. În final, au fost declarati admiși doar doi, Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu și Mitica Dediu.
Dintre cei doi cosmonauti români, numai unul avea să zboare în cosmos. Într-adevar, la 13 mai 1981, norocul i-a suras de aceasta data cosmonautului Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu, care a fost nominalizat pentru misiunea din cosmos. Comandant de echipaj a fost numit cosmonautul sovietic colonel Leonid Popov.
A urmat o perioada de pregatire intensa a celor doi ofiteri la Centrul de Pregatire a Cosmonautilor „Iuri Gagarin” din Zviozdnii Gorodok, în apropierea Moscovei. Au stat în URSS, cu tot cu familii, vreme de aproape cinci ani de zile.
Curios este faptul ca lui Dediu, conducerea țării de atunci, pe ultima sută de metri, i-a schimbat numele din Mitica în Dumitru, iar Prunariu a fost obligat să se semneze cu un singur prenume, Dumitru, iar astazi, de cosmonautul Dumitru Dediu nu se aminteste mai deloc.
Pentru izbanda sa, cosmonautul Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu a primit decorația de erou al RSR și decorația de erou al URSS. De asemenea, a primit titlul de cetățean de onoare al orașelor Brasov, Medias și Cluj-Napoca.
Predestinat sau nu pentru zborul cosmic, astazi, gl. It. av. dr. Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu își aminteste, cu placere, că la gradiniță a făcut un desen cu un satelit deasupra casei bunicilor, apoi, în clasele primare, a proiectat și asamblat un avion pe masa din bucătărie.
Așadar, putem afirma despre cosmonauși că se numară printre acei fericiți care au înțeles ca Dumnezeu este mai aproape de suflet, decât de bolta cereasca și credem că l-a și găsit, aici pe pământ.
Din păcate, Iuri Gagarin, la revenirea din misiunea executată în Cosmos a ținut o conferință de presă, în care a prezentat elementele misiunii sale și a ținut să precizeze: „Eu nu l-am întâlnit pe Dumnezeu în Cosmos!”
Un preot, care era prezent în sală, nu s-a putut abține să nu-i dea replica: „De ce a fost necesar să urci în Univers, in căutarea lui Dumnezeu, de vreme ce nu l-ai gasit pe Pământ?”
Dumitru Dorin Prunariu (n. 27 septembrie 1952, Orașul Stalin, România) . Este de profesie inginer aeronautic. A fost pe rând ofițer inginer în cadrul Comandamentului Aviației Militare, șef al Aviației civile române, președinte al Agenției Spațiale Române, ambasador al României în Federația Rusă, președinte al Comitetului ONU pentru Explorarea Pasnica a Spatiului Extra-atmosferic (UN COPUOS), președinte al Asociației Exploratorilor Spațiului Cosmic (ASE), vice-președinte al Comitetului de Relatii Internationale al Agentiei Spatiale Europene (ESA). În prezent are gradul de general-locotenent în rezervă.
Din anul 2000, este Cetățean de onoare al Orașului Pucioasa și Muzeul Aviatic Aripi Românești și-a schimbat numele, cu cel al primului cosmonaut Român.
Este președinte onorific din anul 1983, când participă la Concursul de Aeromodele pentru Copii, Memorial Henri Coandă.
Suntem singurii din România care avem medalie și insignă gravată cu chipul lui DDP.

Он участвовал в миссии «Союз 40» космической программы «Интеркосмос» и провел пространство за 7 дней, 20 часов и 42 минуты. Космонавт Думитру-Дорин Прунариу – первый румынец, летающий в Космосе. Участвуя в румыно-российской миссии «Союз 40» с 14 по 22 мая 1981 года, он открыл путь для вклада румын в бегство людей среди звезд, исследование Вселенной и близость к Богу. Миссия «Союз-40» была создана для Румынии в момент эпохального значения, в том числе в избранном круге государств, участвующих в сложном процессе познания Вселенной. Во время полета Думитру-Дорин Прунариу был 103-м космонавтом мира. В настоящее время их число выросло более чем до 450 человек. Хотя экспедиция в космос была недолговечной, она приняла кругосветное 5 260 000 километров. Мало кто из тех, кто знает, что более 150 кандидатов были отобраны для программы космических полетов, большинство из которых – начальники и инженеры. Они пробыли в СССР с семьями почти пять лет. Dediu Любопытно, в администрации страны, в последнюю минуту, изменил свое название от мифического Думитру и Принариу был вынужден подписать одно имя, Думитру и сегодня, космонавт Думитру Dediu не он вообще не помнит. За свою победу космонавт Думитру-Дорин Прунариу получил награду героя РССР и награду героя СССР. Он также получил звание почетного гражданина Брашова, Медиаса и Клуж-Напоки.
